Reviews and Ratings
I just returned from a week at Royalton Riviera Cancun, and overall, I had a wonderful experience. The resort is modern and beautifully designed, with a fabulous ambiance. The staff were eager to assist, making dining and pool experiences enjoyable. However, I did face some challenges with noisy neighboring rooms and the beach's water quality due to seaweed. While the amenities were impressive, the dining experience could use some improvement.
Our stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience with an excellent selection of dining options, friendly staff, and a relaxing beach atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-kept, which added to our overall comfort. While we enjoyed much of our time at the pools, there were some moments of difficulty finding sunbeds, and the wait times for lunch could be long. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a fun and relaxing vacation.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location near the beach was lovely and the rooms had a modern feel, the service left much to be desired with slow response times and inattentive staff. Dining options could be hit or miss, and I had to deal with a frustrating situation regarding food allergies. I would recommend looking at other options unless you’re prepared to manage these issues.
My stay at the Hideaway was filled with great experiences, especially enjoying the clean and spacious rooms and the beautiful beach. The dining options offered a variety of delicious meals, but I found the restaurant wait times to be quite frustrating. The service was generally attentive and accommodating; however, it would have been nice to have a more vibrant atmosphere by the pool. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, with good value for the luxurious experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a beautiful property and modern rooms. The beach was quite nice, but there was a lot of seaweed, which was a downside. The dining options offered a mix of great and average experiences. I appreciated the clean pools and the friendly service, though navigating the check-in process was a bit frustrating.
We had a fantastic stay with plenty of highlights, but there were a few downsides as well. The hotel features beautifully designed rooms and incredible dining options that felt luxurious. However, the struggle to find shade by the pool and beach was frustrating and dampened our relaxation. Overall, it was a great experience with just a couple of areas needing improvement.
My stay at the resort was a mix of fantastic experiences and some disappointing moments. The staff truly went above and beyond, especially on the beach, where Carlos and Fidel made our days exceptional. The food was mostly delightful, but the butler service didn't meet my expectations, especially given the premium price. It's a beautiful resort, but perhaps better suited for families than couples seeking romance.
The Royalton Riviera Cancun is perfect for pool lovers but falls short for beach enthusiasts. While the pools are fantastic and well-maintained, the beach was a letdown due to seaweed and garbage. The service varied, with some positive experiences mixed with frustrating moments, particularly during check-in and dining. The food was surprisingly decent at the buffet, but reservations for a la carte options were tricky. Overall, I felt the resort presented itself as a 5-star experience, but it did not fully deliver on that promise.
Our stay at the hotel was quite an experience with its beautiful views and various facilities. While our room exceeded expectations and the overall service was commendable, the beach had significant seaweed issues and the dining experience left a bit to be desired. Overall, it offered a mix of great amenities with some shortcomings that could be improved.
We had an amazing stay at the Royalton! The resort was beautifully maintained, with fantastic dining options that exceeded our expectations. The kids loved the pools and the ice cream parlor. A couple of drawbacks were the late room cleaners and slower room service. Overall, it was a wonderful family vacation, and we're eager to return.
